The high school football playoffs came to a close Wednesday night and the playoff picture became clearer. Here is how the games shook out, and what we can expect for playoff matchups.

Sartell 34, Apollo 21
Sabres running back Derek Stachowski ran for over 270 yards and also passed for a 35-yard score in Sartell's win over the Eagles.

The win earns Sartell (7-1, 5-0) the Central Lakes Conference-South Division title, and likely gives them a first round bye in next week's playoffs.The Eagles (5-3, 4-1) are likely to earn the third seed and play against Sauk Rapids-Rice on Tuesday.

Tech 28, Willmar 13
Tigers sophomore quarterback Chris Backes ran for over 100 yards and three touchdowns as Tech upset Willmar 28-13 at St. John's University. Senior wide receiver Jake Martig added four catches for 90 yards while also rushing for a touchdown. Tech (3-5, 2-3) will likely play at Alexandria (4-4, 2-3)  on Tuesday, while the Cardinals (3-5, 1-4) would play at Monticello.

ROCORI 25, Sauk Rapids-Rice 0
The Spartans shut out the Storm to send Sauk Rapids-Rice (0-8, 0-5) to their second straight winless season. ROCORI (4-4, 3-2) ends the season with two straight wins after a three game mid-season losing skid. The Spartans are likely to face Fergus Falls to open the playoffs Tuesday.
