Cathedral Hockey State Tournament Start Time And Opponent Announced Saturday

The Cathedral Crusaders boys hockey team learned their opponent for their MSHSL State Hockey Tournament game Wednesday in St. Paul.

The Crusaders are the #4 seed in Class A and will play against #5 seed Totino Grace at 8 PM. The game can be heard on AM 1390 The Fan and at www.1390thefan.com.

The Eagles are 17-10-1 this season. To reach the tourney, Totino-Grace beat Como Park 7-1 on February 20th, topped South St. Paul 1-0 on February 25th and got past Mahtomedi 5-4 in overtime on February 28.

The Crusaders are 20-7-1 and posted playoff wins over Little Falls (8-1), Sartell (3-1) and Alexandria (2-1).

Cathedral beat Totino-Grace 5-4 in late January at the MAC in St. Cloud. William Hammer notched a hat trick for CHS in the win.

Advance sale tickets for Wednesday's quarterfinal are available at the Cathedral activities box office from 8 AM-2 PM Monday and Tuesday. Student tickets cost $11 and adult tickets cost $17.
