NBA Lockout To End; Tentative Labor Deal Reached
The NBA lockout is expected to end after the players and owners have reached a tentative agreement to start playing basketball again and end the 149-day lockout. The deal would allow for a 66-game schedule instead of 82 games and would start on Christmas Day some teams. Training camp and free agency would begin December 9.

I had the opportunity Monday to go and watch our beloved Vikings take on the the Division rival Packers in the belly of the beast that is Lambeau Field. And, while the Vikes put up little defense as Aaron Rodgers and company dismantled the Vikings, one thing was clear....we need a stadium in Arden Hills.
SCSU Hockey Tops MSU-Mankato
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team earned a split in the weekend series at Minnesota State-Mankato with a 3-2 win Saturday night. SCSU scored 3 first period goals and goaltender Ryan Faragher made the lead stand up. Faragher had 29 saves for the Huskies. Ben Hanowski had a goal and an assist and both Cory Thorson and David Eddy added a goal for SCSU.
Johnnies Rout Hamline To Close Season
The St. John's football team blanked last place Hamline 61-0 to close the season on a 4-game winning streak. St. John's was led by Connor Bruns with 183 yards passing and 3 touchdowns and he ran for 25 yards and 2 touchdowns. Taylor Freetly had 4 catches for 87 yards and 2 touchdowns for St. John's.
SCSU Tops MSU-Moorhead to Win a Share of NSIC Title
The 13th ranked St. Cloud State football team defeated Minnesota State-Moorhead 47-14 Saturday afternoon to win a share of the NSIC title. SCSU finishes the regular season 9-2 overall and 8-2 in the NSIC. Michael Walker ran for 73 yards and 3 touchdowns for SCSU and Andy Folz ran for 73 yards and 1 touchdown for the Huskies. Phil Klaphake threw for 157 yards and ran for 34 yards and 1 touchdown for St. Cloud State.
