The Lynx lost 81-71 at the L.A. Sparks Tuesday night. Candice Parker led the Sparks with 20 points and 10 rebounds. The Lynx were led by Lexi Brown who had 20 points off the bench. Napheesa Collier had 14 points and 7 rebounds for Minnesota.

The Twins lead the American League Central by 2 1/2 games over 2nd place Cleveland after posting a 6-3 win at Texas Sunday. The Twins swept the Rangers in 4 games while Cleveland split 4 game with the Yankees.

The Minnesota Lynx lost 82-74 at Seattle Sunday to fall to 13-14 on the season. The Lynx outscored Seattle 24-19 in the 3rd quarter but were outscored 15-11 in the 4th.

Apollo is looking for a new Activities Director. Last year's Interim Activities Director Justin Skaalerud had the interim tag removed from his title and he now been hired as Assistant Principal at Apollo High School.

The Twins will activate starting pitcher Michael Pineda from the 10-day injured list before tonight's game against Texas. Pineda will start tonight's game instead of Devin Smeltzer likely pushing Smeltzer to a bullpen role.

The Minnesota Lynx won 89-73 at New York against the Liberty Tuesday night. Odyssey Sims led the Lynx with 17 points and Stephanie Talbot added 16 points for Minnesota. Napheesa Collier and Danielle Robinson added 14 points for the Lynx.

The St. Cloud Rox saw their season end in Game 2 of the Northwoods League first round playoff series with Willmar Tuesday night. The Stingers beat the Rox 3-2.

St. Cloud dropped Game one of their Northwoods League 1st round best of 3 series with Willmar 4-1 Monday night at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud. The Rox bats' struggled throughout the game scoring only one run and managing just 4 hits.

The St. Cloud Rox closed the regular season Sunday with a 16-9 win over Thunder Bay in Canada. The Rox scored had 2 big inning where they scored 5 runs in the 4th inning before posting 6 runs in the 7th inning.
