The Gopher men's basketball team is now 0-4 against teams from major conferences after falling 73-68 at Williams Arena. Minnesota trailed by 2 at halftime and were playing from behind for much of the game.

The 7th ranked St. Cloud State volleyball team won 3 games to none Friday night in the opening round of the NSIC tournament in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Scores were 25-17, 25-20, and 25-23.

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team lost 4-2 Friday night to #5/#6 North Dakota. SCSU trailed 1-0 after 1 period but scored twice in the 2nd period with goals from Nick Poehling and Luke Jaycox.

The Minnesota Wild got a 3rd period goal from Jason Zucker to edge Colorado 3-2 Thursday night. Zucker's goal is his 7th on the season and came midway through the 3rd period. The Wild got 2nd period goals from Mats Zuccarello and Jordan Greenway.

The St. Ben's basketball team downed UW-Superior 66-59 Thursday night to improve to 4-0. The Bennies were led in scoring by Sidney Schiffler with 14 points and Megan Thompson added 12 points.

The St. Ben's volleyball team lost 3 games to none to Johns Hopkins in the NCAA Division III tournament quarterfinals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa Thursday. Scores were 25-22, 25-17 and 25-14.

The Gopher men's basketball team ended a 3-game losing streak with a dominating 82-57 win over Central Michigan Thursday night. Minnesota led 48-29 at halftime. The Gophers were led in scoring by Marcus Carr with 19 points, Payton Willis added 18 points and Gabe Kalscheur chipped in 15 points.
