The Timberwolves defeated Indiana 96-94 Friday night when Chase Budinger scored the go-ahead basket on a layup assisted by Andrei Kirilenko. Budinger led the Wolves with 18 points and Derrick Williams added 15 points. The Wolves trailed by 1 point halftime but led by 5 after 3 quarters.
Really? You Gave Out WHAT For Halloween?
No one is forced to participate in Halloween, right? You could’ve easily left your outside lights off and you shouldn't have been bothered. However, if you chose to hand out candy last week or some sort of treat to kids, how about NOT handing out broccoli and carrots!?

Timberwolves Rout Magic 90-75
The Timberwolves won 90-75 at home against Orlando Wednesday night to improve to 3-1. Minnesota led 38-34 at halftime and blew the game out in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Luke Ridnour led the Wolves with 19 points, Derrick Williams added 14 points and Greg Stiemsma added 12 points and 5 rebounds for Minnesota. Brandon Roy had 3 points and 9 assists in 26 minutes for the Wolves.
Timberwolves Host Orlando Tonight
The Timberwolves host Orlando at 7:00 tonight, pregame on WJON at 6:30. Minnesota is 2-1 after coming from behind to win at Brooklyn Monday night. Orlando is 2-1 but is coming off a 99-93 loss at Chicago Tuesday night. Arron Afflalo led the Magic with 28 points. Orlando is playing without guard Jameer Nelson and forward Hedo Turkolu.

The Timberwolves rallied to beat Brooklyn in Brooklyn 107-96 Monday night. The Wolves trailed by 22 but outscored the Nets 32-10 in the 4th quarter to sneak out the win. Alexey Shved made 2 3-pointers and made the go-ahead basket with 2:38 left to lift the Wolves to the win. Chase Budinger made a 3-point basket with :38 left that helped seal the win.
Raptors Rout Timberwolves 105-86
The Timberwolves lost 105-86 at Toronto against the Raptors Sunday night. Minnesota trailed by 9 at halftime and were outscored 26-13 in the 4th quarter. The Wolves committed 24 turnovers. Andrei Kirilenko led Minnesota with 17 points and Nikola Pekovic added 15 points. Chase Budinger and Derrick Williams each scored 9 points for the Wolves.
T-Wolves Win Season Opener 92-80 Over Sacramento
The Timberwolves held off Sacramento to win their season opener 92-80 Friday night. J.J. Barea led the Wolves with 21 points and both Andrei Kirilenko and Brandon Roy added 10 points apiece. The Wolves led by as many as 17 in the first half but allowed for the Kings to come back and lead by 5 in the 3rd quarter.

Kevin Love Insists He Broke His Hand Doing Knuckle Pushups
Timberwolves forward Kevin Love spoke to the media Wednesday and confirmed that he broke 2 bones in his right shooting hand by working out at his apartment doing knuckle pushups on October 17. Love says he continues to try and stay in shape and support his teammates. He is expected to be back in 4-6 weeks. Love says he's planning on 6 weeks and if he's back before that it's a bonus.
