The Twins have agreed to sign free agent right-handed starting pitcher Kevin Correia to a 2-year $10 Million contract. Correia is a 32-year old who pitched for Pittsburgh in 2012. Correia was 12-11 with a 4.21 ERA with the Pirates.

The Twins re-signed righthanded relief pitcher Jared Burton to a 2-year $5.5 Million contract extension Thursday. Burton had 5 saves, 55 strikeouts, 16 walks and a 2.18 ERA in 62 innings for the Twins in 2012. Burton will make $2.05 Million in 2013 and $3.25 Million in 2014.

Hunter has reportedly narrowed his choices to Texas, Detroit and Atlanta. Hunter is a 37-year old rightfielder at this point in his career. He batted .313 with 16 homeruns and 92 RBIs for the Los Angeles Angels in 2012.

Baker sat out all of the 2012 season after having Tommy John surgery in the spring. Baker may not be ready when the regular season starts.
