High School Baseball Pushed To Thursday/Friday Due To Rain

With persistent rain in the forecast, baseball games originally scheduled for the MAC in St. Cloud on Wednesday have been moved to Thursday.

The new schedule:
4:30 PM- Faber Field- St. John's Prep vs Pillager
7:00 PM- Faber Field- SJP/Villager winner vs Hinckley-Finlayson

4:30 PM- Putz Field- Sauk Centre vs Minnewaska
7:00 PM- Putz Field- Sauk Centre/Minnewaska winner vs Little Falls

FRIDAY:
11:00 AM- Faber Field Osakis vs TBD (5A)
12:00 PM- Putz Field- Cathedral vs TBD (6AA)

Sartell Gets New Basketball Coach

Sartell-St. Stephen High School has announced the hiring of longtime assistant Marcus Oistad as head basketball coach. Oistad has been an assistant with the Sabres for the past five seasons.

Oistad takes the reigns from newly-retired Dave Angell, who coached the Sabres for the past 31 years

The Tech Tigers shot a season-low 303 to take first place on day one of the Section 8AAA golf championships at Greystone Golf Club in Sauk Centre. Willmar and Moorhead tied for second place with a score of 308

Little Falls And CHS To Battle In Fourth Round Of Section Playoffs

Rivals Little Falls and Cathedral will play in a Section 6AA playoff game Monday night at Dick Putz Field.

The winner advances to the section championship game, to be played Thursday night, while the loser will have to play the team that makes it out of the loser bracket
