Watson Beats Oosthuizen to Win The Masters

Bubba Watson beat Louis Oosthuizen on the 2nd playoff hole at the 2012 Masters Sunday evening. Watson hit a great 2nd shot to save par on the 2nd playoff hole while Oosthuizen settled for a bogey. Watson and Oosthuizen were each -10 after regulation. Watson rallied on the back nine with 4 straight birdies on 13, 14, 15 and 16. For Watson it's his first major tournament win.

Tiger Woods Splits with Longtime Caddie Steve Williams

In a surprise move, Tiger Woods has dropped Steve Williams, his caddie of 12 years.

“I want to express my deepest gratitude to Stevie for all his help, but I think it’s time for a change,” Woods said in a statement. “Stevie is an outstanding caddie and a friend and has been instrumental in many of my accomplishments. I wish him great success in the future.”

An attempt to spice up a charity golf tournament in Australia with some sexy models has led to accusations that aren’t typically hurled at sexy models.

Darwin Life magazine, which was sponsoring the seventh hole, decided to staff their area with two scantily-clad representatives. (Not pictured, but you get the idea.) The models, apparently, got a bit frisky.

Rory McIlroy shredded the course, lapped the competition and wrote his name in the record book 12 times Sunday during a dazzling 16-under par, 8-stroke US Open victory at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD.

Among the US Open records the 22-year-old from Northern Ireland set included the lowest score after 36 rounds, the lowest score after 54 and the lowest total score – a mark he shattered by four strokes.
