St. Cloud State is welcoming students, parents, alumni and the community to the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center Saturday evening for a grand re-opening of the newly renovated hockey arena.

The SCSU men's hockey team named its captains for the upcoming 2013-14 season on Thursday. Nic Dowd, Nick Oliver and Kevin Gravel will all have leadership roles as seniors under Bob Motzko.

Dowd trailed only Hobey Baker Award Winner Drew LeBlanc in points last season for the Huskies with 38 points (14G, 24A)
