Sophomore point guard Andre Hollins scored a career high 41 points on 12-16 shooting from the field. He becomes the first Gopher score 41 points since 1971.

The Gopher men's basketball team lost 89-71 to #5 Duke Thanksgiving Day in the quarterfinals of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament in the Bahamas. Minnesota trailed throughout including down 7 at halftime. Duke shot 54% from the field while the Gophers were held to 40% shooting.
