MINNEAPOLIS -- A late-inning clutch hit from Brian Dozier helped the Minnesota Twins defeat the Toronto Blue Jays 3-2 on Saturday.

With the game tied 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Dozier hit a triple that scored Aaron Hicks (who reached base three times in the game) to give the Twins the one-run lead and eventual victory.

Minnesota scored first (again) on a third inning home run by catcher Chris Herrmann.

Starter Kyle Gibson had a decent outing for the Twins -- one earned run on eight hits -- but ran into some trouble in the sixth inning as he was pulled with two runners in scoring position. Reliever Brian Duensing came in to strike out Jose Reyes to end the threat.

The Minnesota bullpen held Toronto scoreless for the final three innings, with Ryan Pressly picking up the win and Blaine Boyer notching the save in the 3-2 victory.

With the win, the Twins improve to 29-19 on the season. Minnesota will send Ricky Nolasco to the mound today (Sunday) for a 1:10 p.m. start in the final game of the series with the Blue Jays.
