The Twins lost 16-4 in Milwaukee to the Brewers Sunday afternoon.  Jason Marquis allowed 8 hits and 8 earned runs in 1 2/3 innings to take the loss and drop to 2-4.  His ERA swells to 8.47.  Joe Mauer led the Twins with 4 hits and Josh Willingham had 1 hit and 1 RBI for Minnesota.  The Twins were so far behind that backup catcher Drew Butera threw 1 scoreless inning of relief including a strikeout of former Twin centerfielder Carlos Gomez.  The Twins’ 4-game win streak is snapped.

Minnesota is 14-27 and will take the day off today before starting a 3-game series in Chicago against the White Sox Tuesday night at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander P.J.
