Yan Gomes hit a solo homerun off Glen Perkins in the 9th inning to force extra innings before Anthony Gose hit the game-winning RBI single off Brian Duensing in the 10th inning. Trevor Plouffe was 2-3 with a 2-run homerun and 3 RBIs and Jamey Carroll went 3-5 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI for the Twins.
