Blazer Basketball Cruises to 72-50 Win Over Carleton

ST. JOSEPH - The Saint Benedict basketball team picked up a much needed victory to keep their playoff chances alive, downing Carleton 72-50 on Saturday.

The Blazers finished the contest shooting 48 percent from the field. Morgan Dale led Saint Ben's with 14 rebounds and 13 points. Tish Alexander also added 11 points during the contest.

The Blazers are now 12-11 overall and 9-11 in the MIAC. They return to action on Wednesday at Concordia-Moorhead at 7:30 p.m.
