TAMPA BAY -- After a heartbreak defeat last week against the Bills, the Vikings were finally on the right side of the score board in Tampa Bay picking up the overtime victory 19-13.

Rookie linebacker Anthony Barr was the lone hero in overtime.

Barr forced a fumble, scooped it up and ran it in for the touchdown on the very first play of overtime to give the Vikings their third win of the season.

Fellow rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater played a beautiful game including an effective two minute drill in the final quarter.

Bridgewater finished the day 24-42 passing for 241 and touchdown.

Veteran wide out Greg Jennings hauled in a 17-yard touchdown pass from the rookie to give the Vikings a 10-0 lead in the third quarter.

The Minnesota defense stood strong coming away with five sacks and an interception on the afternoon.

The Vikings (3-5) will look to carry this momentum into next week when they take on the Washington Redskins.
