The Minnesota Wild lost 5-4 in overtime in Colorado to the Avalanche in Game 1 of their Western Conference opening round playoff series Thursday night.  Paul Stasny scored the game-tying goal with just :14 left in regulation before Stasny scored the game-winner 7:27 into overtime.

Minnesota led 4-2 after 2 periods with goals from Charlie Coyle, Ryan Suter, Erik Haula, and Kyle Brodziak.  Ilya Bryzgalov had 26 saves for the Wild and Minnesota outshot the Av's 33-31.

The Wild trail 1 game to none in the best of 7 series and will play at Colorado Saturday night at 8:30, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 8:00.
