The Crusaders boys basketball team topped Mora 75-34 Thursday night at Cathedral High School in St. Cloud. Brindley Theisen led CHS with 19 points in the win, which improved the Crusaders to 16-4 on the season.

The Minnesota Timberwolves picked up their ninth win of the season by finishing strong in a 102-101 win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night at Target Center.

The College of St. Benedict has announced the hiring of Glennis Werner Rosebloom as the new Athletic Director. She takes over for Carol Howe-Veenstra, who held the position for over 20 years and will be stepping down in July.

The Tech Tigers boys basketball team heads to Fergus Falls Tuesday night for a matchup with the Otters. The Tigers beat the Otters 64-61 on December 18th. Tech is 7-12 overall this season and 7-5 in the Central Lakes Conference. The Tigers have lost three straight and ten of their last twelve games. The Otters are 10-11 overall and 5-7 in the CLC.
The Minnesota Wild swept their three game Canadian road trip, which ended with a 4-2 win over the Canucks in Vancouver Sunday. The Wild earned all six possible points on the trip and remain five points behind Calgary for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
