ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud Apollo ran away with the game after forcing five turnovers from the St. Cloud Tech offense in a 41-19 rout at Husky Stadium tonight.

Apollo defensive back Michael Walker Jr. intercepted a Chris Backes pass in the opening minutes of the game, but the Eagles could not score.

The first half saw a back-and-forth game with each team exchanging touchdowns.

The Tigers got scores from running backs Brennan Paulsen and Devin Vouk and headed into the half trailing 21-13.

The Eagles got on the board with touchdowns from Evin Rassier, Sam Glass and Ethan Novacinski.

Apollo quarterback Ben Alvord was able to connect with the 6'6" Novacinski for a touchdown three times in the game, including twice in the second half highlighted by a 71-yarder.

Turnovers continued to plague the Tigers as the Eagles ran away with it, 41-19.
