Alexandria Outscores Rox 12-9

The St. Cloud Rox lost 12-9 at Alexandria Tuesday night.  St. Cloud scored 7 runs in the 4th inning to lead 8-5 but the Beetles rallied for 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th and added 3 more runs in the 5th inning.  Erik Kozel hit a grand slam homerun and Carlos Lopez was 2-4 with 2 runs scored including a solo homerun for the Rox.  James Jensen threw 3 1/3 innings with 8 hits and 7 earned runs allowed for St. Cloud.

The Rox are 12-13 in the 2nd half of the season and are 3 1/2 games back of Willmar for first place in the 2nd half North Division standings.

The Rox begin a 9-game homestand tonight when they host Alexandria at 7:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.  The Inflatamaniacs will be performing at the ballpark tonight.
