Adrian Peterson Not On Madden 12 Cover Is A Blessing

Viking running back Adrian Peterson lost in the semifinals of the EA Sports Madden 12 Video Game cover bracket challenge.  Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick received more votes than Peterson and will face off with Cleveland running back Peyton Hillis who surprisingly edged Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the other semifinal.  A curse has often been associated with being the cover of the Madden video game.  Vick was on the cover the same year he suffered a preseason injury and was sidelined for the year.  Shaun Alexander of Seattle had the worst season of his career the year he appeared on the Madden cover.  Drew Brees was on the Madden 11 cover and survived without any major problems but he didn't have as good of season as he did the year before.  Needless to say it is better for Adrian Peterson not to take the chance of being cursed.
