Gopher Men's Basketball Gets NCAA Tournament Berth

The Gopher men's basketball team lost the Big Ten tournament championship game 90-61 to 7th ranked Ohio State Sunday in Indianapolis but received an at-large berth into the NCAA tournament just minutes later when the brackets were announced.  The Buckeyes led by 3 at halftime and caught fire in the 2nd half.  Minnesota was led by Lawrence Westbrook with 17 points and Devoe Joseph added 14 points.  Evan Turner led the Buckeyes with 31 points.  Minnesota is 21-13 on the season and is seeded 11th in the West Region of the NCAA tournament and will play 6th seeded Xavier at 11:25am Friday in Milwaukee.  Hear the game on AM 1390-the Fan.
