The St. John's Football team won their season opener 29-15 over East Texas Baptist in Collegeville Saturday afternoon.  The Johnnies scored first and led 14-9 at halftime.   East Texas Baptist led 15-14 entering the 4th quarter before St. John's scored 2 touchdowns to put the game out of reach.  Three different quarterbacks appeared in the game for St. John's.  Jordan Hansel started the game and was 5-7 passing for 63 yards.  Joe Boyle got in the game and was 7-10 passing for 69 yards and 1 touchdown and Michael Crees went 5-7 passing for 68 yards and 1 touchdown.  Jeff Schnobrich had a big game for St. John's rushing for 60 yards on 19 carries and catching 7 passes for 101 yards and 1 touchdown.    St. John's improves to 1-0 on the season and will play UW-River Falls next Saturday at 1pm in Collegeville.
