The Sauk Rapids-Rice football team is 2-0 after a 44-7 thumping of Apollo Friday night at Mische Field in St. Cloud.  Sauk Rapids scored on touchdown on an interception return and recovered a fumble on a punt return and got great field position on botched snaps on punts to blow the game wide open.  Sam Elliott ran for 66 yards and 1 touchdown for the Storm.  Sauk Rapids had 4 players run for 37 yards or more.  Dustin Christen ran for 86 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown for Apollo.  Apollo falls to 0-2.
