Nick Blackburn threw 6 2/3 innings with 6 hits and 2 earned runs allowed. Eddie Guardado allowed 2 hits and 1 earned run to take the loss and drop to 3-4. Minnesota falls 1 game back of the White Sox for first place in the American League Central. Chicago beat Cleveland 4-2 Wednesday afternoon and leads the AL Central by 1 game over the Twins. The Twins close the 3-game series and 14-game road trip at Toronto tonight at 6:07, pregame on WJON at 5:35. Righthander Kevin Slowey (11-8) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Jesse Litsch (9-8) toes the rubber for the Blue Jays.
