The University of Minnesota signed Gopher head women's basketball head coach Pam Borton to a 6-year contract extension through the 2013-2014 season.  Borton has led the Gophers to 5 NCAA tournament appearances in 6 seasons.  They have a record of 132-61 and a cumulative grade-point average 3.0 since she was hired in 2002.  Borton's base salary for this season is $405,000.  She's guaranteed to make $2.67 million over 6 seasons.  She has several incentives including $100,000 for a national championship, $80,000 for a final four appearance and $50,000 for winning the Big Ten title.
