The Twins will have to play all of 2009 without relief pitcher Pat Neshek.  Neshek will have Tommy John ligament replacement surgery on his right elbow after re-injuring his elbow last week in a throwing session in Fort Myers, Florida.  Neshek suffered a partial tear of the ligament during a game in May.  The Twins recommended rest and rehabilitation rather than surgery at the time.  Neshek said last month he was on track to return for spring training.  Neshek will likely pitch next for the Twins in a regular season game when they move into their new ballpark in 2010.
