EAST LANSING - The #1 ranked Gopher hockey team fell in a shootout against Michigan State last night. The Spartans won the shootout 1-0 for a bonus league point.

Taylor Cammarata and Justin Kloos both scored for Minnesota. Michigan State got goals from Mackenzie MacEachern and Villiam Haag to tie the game 2-2.

The Spartans would get the lone shootout goal from Mike Ferrantino for the bonus point.

Goalie Adam Wilcox made 31 saves for the Gophers in the action.

The Gophers and Spartans will wrap up their series this afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
